I welcome your interest in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Mercy Hospital. Located minutes from Chicago’s South Loop, Mercy combines the advanced capabilities of a major urban medical center with the humanistic focus of a community based hospital. Residents here are exposed to a diverse and challenging patient care setting, a well-rounded academic program and a highly qualified teaching faculty, all of whom are board certified and have clinical appointments at the University of Illinois College Of Medicine.

We are proud of Mercy’s longstanding commitment to medical education. We are equally proud of the success of our graduates, who include physicians in the practice of General Internal Medicine as well as subspecialties, and many who have assumed faculty positions in medical institutions across the country.
